Meet the Speakers
Phil Little
After joining Plastribution in 2015, Phil now leads the technical team as Technical & Business Development Manager. He is responsible for serving customers and suppliers with technical requirements and bringing new polymer innovations to market in a variety of processing methods.
Dan Jarvis
Dan, a BEng (Hons) graduate in Polymer Science and Engineering, has contributed to Brydson’s Plastics Materials and worked across research, automotive, compounding, and packaging. In polymer sales since 2002, he is now Product Group Manager at Plastribution, specializing in rubbers, additives, and sustainable polymers.
Derek Cheetham
Derek Cheetham has been a highly experienced professional in the injection moulding industry since 1995, developing extensive expertise across a wide range of manufacturing applications and technologies. In 2015, he joined ARBURG Ltd as an Applications Engineer, where he has played a key role in supporting customers and helping them optimise their processing operations. Today, Derek is responsible for providing technical support across all applications associated with ARBURG products, working closely with customers to deliver effective solutions and maximise production performance.
Joe Putt
Joe joined Plastribution as a Technical Specialist shortly after finishing university and has built over 10 years of experience with the company, continually developing his technical knowledge and expertise.
In his role, Joe helps identify alternative material solutions, troubleshoot technical challenges, and provide guidance and support to both colleagues and customers. He can also assist with regulatory matters, including REACH compliance and the Plastic Packaging Tax.

Please note:
Smart casual clothes are fine and we recommend sensible shoes to be worn during the practical session. Safety shoes are not required.

- Day 1: 9am to 5pm Day 2: 9am to 4pm
- Refreshments and lunch are provided. Please speak to us if you have any specific requirements.
