Whilst demand remained robust throughout the main summer period, September has started with a somewhat negative outlook as prices tend to be lower across the full portfolio of feedstocks including crude oil, although the discrepancy between the reduction in crude oil and the polyolefin feedstocks C2 and C3 is remarkable, as the supply/demand balance for these monomers continues to be robust.
The overall situation on polymer pricing continues to be diverse as availability within material groups is quite mixed; in particular the supply of PPCP and more specialised grades of PPHP continues to be restricted and for this reason prices have increased in September.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”Download (PDF)” style=”flat” color=”green” i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-arrow-down” add_icon=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.plastribution.co.uk%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2021%2F09%2Fpla0507_pkh-sept-21.pdf||target:%20_blank|”][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row fullwidth=”true”][vc_column][vc_raw_html]JTVCZGZsaXAlMjBpZCUzRCUyMjY2NTglMjIlMjAlNUQlNUIlMkZkZmxpcCU1RA==[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row]
