Meet the Speakers
Phil Little
Technical & Business Development Manager – Plastribution
After joining Plastribution in 2015, Phil now leads the technical team as Technical & Business Development Manager. He is responsible for serving customers and suppliers with technical requirements and bringing new polymer innovations to market in a variety of processing methods.
Martin White
Sales Manager – Plastribution
Martin has been in the polymer industry for over 35 years. He gained a degree in polymer engineering whilst working in the pigments and masterbatch industry. My current role is sales manager for both the distribution and direct sales teams which I have been doing for over 10 years.
Joe Putt
Technical & Regulatory Affairs Supervisor
Joe’s role as technical and regulatory supervisor involves overseeing relevant materials legislation, such as REACh, food contact approvals, and MSDS, with a focus on new suppliers and regulatory changes. He provides materials training, advising on alternatives or material selection for new projects, and assisting with material trials and troubleshooting.
Darren Vater-Hutchison
Process & Training Engineer – Sumitomo Demag
Darren has over 30 years of experience in the injection moulding industry, progressing from trainee toolsetter to senior technician. He served as a technical consultant at the British Polymer Training Association, achieved a silver award in the 37th global Epson injection moulding competition, and completed a Masters in Polymer Engineering Design.
