SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT
Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires commercial organisations operating in the UK (that is, organisations that supply goods or services from or to the UK and have a global turnover above £36 million), to publish a slavery and human trafficking statement each financial year, setting out the steps they have taken to ensure there is no slavery or human trafficking in their business or supply chains.
After careful consideration of the relevant risk factors the Directors state that Plastribution has taken no steps during the financial year to ensure that the business and supply chains are free of slavery and human trafficking. In reaching this decision, the Directors have considered:
- Country risk
- Sector or industry risk.
- Business or transaction risk
- Product or raw materials risk
The Directors will continue to monitor these risks and if appropriate amend the company policy.
