Plastribution, the UK’s leading distributor of plastics raw materials, has moved offices to new bigger premises close by. The planned relocation accommodates the Leicestershire company’s ambitious plans for future growth.

Local MP, Andrew Bridgen, was among a number of guests invited to the opening ceremony on Friday 2nd May, where he carried out the official cutting of the ribbon to formally open the offices for business.

At the event, Plastribution’s managing director, Mike Boswell said: “Today is as much about the present and future as it is about our past. Today we employ a fantastic team of 65 people across three sites, with a turnover of £75m, generating a profit after tax in excess of £2m.

“Our plans going forward are ambitious and we aim to continue our story of success through a combination of further organic growth and acquisition. When some 10 years ago we moved into CEVA House across the road from here, we realised the importance of the environment on business performance; hence we are incredibly excited by the opportunity that these new and larger offices create.”

Plastribution was ranked No.46 in the Leicestershire Mercury’s, ‘Leicestershire’s Top 200 Companies 2013’ (a 59% increase in turnover over a 15-month period, saw the company move from 74th position in the Top 200 in 2012 to 46th in 2013).
