The UK’s leading polymer distributor, Plastribution, has been awarded with the prestigious Sunday Times ‘Best Companies to Work For’ award.
The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For accreditation system is a recognised benchmark for research into employee satisfaction in the UK. Measuring employees’ levels of fulfilment, motivation and engagement, each organisation is given a Best Companies Index (BCI) score from 1 to 1000, based on employees’ answers to the confidential survey. Depending on an organisation’s BCI, it may achieve a ‘one to watch’, one, two or three star status; Plastribution was awarded a one star rating for being a great place to work, demonstrating first class levels of engagement in the organisation.
For the 2015 survey, a total of 428,710 employees were surveyed across 791 companies. Plastribution was one of 200 businesses to achieve a one star rating.
Plastribution’s Mike Boswell said: “We’re extremely proud to have achieved a star accreditation in The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For scheme. It’s a fantastic achievement and a testament to all our hardworking staff. Being a best company is about excelling in every area throughout the workplace and an organisation’s commitment to its most important assets – its workforce.”
