Plastribution Polymer Distributor of the Year 2003

Abstract: Plastribution beat finalists Distrupol, Resin Express and Curtis Plastics at this years� Plastic Industry Awards to be voted the official �Polymer Distributor or Compounder of the Year 2003. According to the judges a key strength of Plastribution is their flexible approach to customers needs. This is a fantastic achievement and everyone at Plastribution is delighted with this news.
About the Award
The award, sponsored by PICME (Process Industries Centre for Manufacturing Excellence), was presented to Plastribution at the third Plastic Industry Awards held at London Hilton, Park Lane, on Friday 6 June 2003, where there was an audience of more than 600 polymer professionals and guests.
BBC Grandstand's Steve Rider presenting the awards said that Plastribution broke new ground at last years Interplas with the demonstration of a full rapid product development cell. A great example of the imagination and originality that this company takes in its approach to the market.
The awards were open to all companies involved in the UK plastics industry including OEM manufacturers, processors and consultants to the industry. Each award had different qualifying criteria that had to be met.
Mike Boswell, Managing Director of Plastribution Group, collected the trophy and later said it was a fantastic achievement. He also praised his staff saying. Everyone worked hard for the award and it's the whole team that achieved it. It will give a big boost to morale.
